Our work expands rural and urban communities, and we adapt SEED SCALE (www.seed-scale.org) methodology of community based change in our work approach with communities. Consequently, we are guided by the four principles for community change:
- Identifying and building community change from existing community success
- Mobilizing community energy through effective three-way partnerships, where communities work from the bottom up, government work from the top down, and organisations work from the outside in.
- Evidence-based decision making grounded in objective data gathered in a participatory way
Supporting behavioral change by shifting to guidance that empowers, rather than acting to foster dependency.
